Acceptance of Terms

By using TrustLayer, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What TrustLayer Does

TrustLayer is an assistive tool that helps you assess suspicious messages, links, and screenshots. It identifies potential scam indicators and provides verification guidance.

No Guarantee

TrustLayer does NOT guarantee:

  • Detection of all scams, fraud, or malicious content
  • That flagged content is definitely a scam
  • That unflagged content is definitely safe
  • Protection from financial loss or identity theft

Always verify through official channels. TrustLayer is a second opinion, not a guarantee.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Protecting your personal information and accounts
  • Using TrustLayer in accordance with these terms

Subscriptions & Billing

Premium subscriptions are available on the iPhone app:

  • Monthly: $4.99/month
  • Yearly: $29.99/year (save 50%)

Subscriptions are billed through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Cancellation

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Open iPhone Settings
  2. Tap your Apple ID at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Select TrustLayer
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use TrustLayer for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
  • Abuse the service or attempt to circumvent limits
  • Use automated systems to access the service

Intellectual Property

TrustLayer, including its design, features, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrustLayer and its creators are not liable for any losses, damages, or consequences resulting from your use of the app.

  • Financial losses from scams or fraud
  • Decisions made based on TrustLayer's analysis
  • Inaccurate or incomplete analysis
  • Service interruptions or errors

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to RealCheck for violations of these terms.
