What does TrustLayer do?

TrustLayer helps you assess suspicious messages, links, and screenshots. It identifies potential scam indicators like urgency language, impersonation attempts, and suspicious links, then provides verification guidance.

Does TrustLayer guarantee scam detection?

No. TrustLayer is an assistive tool that provides a second opinion. It cannot guarantee detection of all scams or that flagged content is definitely malicious. Always verify through official channels before acting.

Copy a suspicious text message, email, or DM. Paste it into the Message Scan field. TrustLayer will analyze it for red flags like urgency tactics, impersonation, and suspicious patterns.

Copy a suspicious URL. Paste it into the Link Scan field. TrustLayer will analyze the domain and URL structure. Premium users get Live Link Reputation checking against threat databases.

Take a screenshot of a suspicious message. Upload it to TrustLayer. Text will be extracted automatically and analyzed for red flags.

How do I cancel my subscription?

1. Open iPhone Settings
2. Tap your Apple ID at the top
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Select TrustLayer
5. Tap Cancel Subscription

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.

Is my data private?

Yes. Most analysis happens locally on your device. Your messages and screenshots are never sent to our servers. Only URLs are sent externally (for Live Link Reputation), and only if you use that feature.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Settings in the app. You can delete your scan history and trusted entities separately. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.
